Weekend Highlights

WOLF DEMO EVERY 2.5 HOURS
(Schedule will be posted here once finalized)

Last years event was fast paced, and the one request we heard consistently was for more time between Seminars to make the event more fun and less strenuous. For that reason, we are providing an extra half hour between presenters to allow attendees to get food, use the rest room, add or remove layers of clothing depending on the weather, and we will also be allowing time for campfire comradery in the evenings. The following is a rough outline of what to expect:

  • Thursday Afternoon (After 1pm): roll in and set up camp. Thursday evening 6pm Campfire Comradery
  • Daily Seminars Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 8am, 10:30am, 1pm, & 3:30pm
  • Evening Campfire Comradery & roundtable discussions Thursday and Friday evenings at 6pm
  • Saturday is Conservation Night: Intro to and Presentations from Partnering Organizations, as well as Potluck Dinner and Live Auction to help fund the event. "Howl I Get One" wolf hunt raffle drawing will be held at the end of the evening. (Please bring
a donation for the Live Auction to help offset the expenses of the event).

FREE DRY CAMPING:

  • Bring your camper, RV, or tent, and feel free to take advantage of our gracious hosts hospitality. We are very thankful for the Finney Family allowing us to host this event on their private property, and even more so for the opportunity to camp out there. Please be kind and respectful of this beautiful property and do all you can to leave it better than you found it. You are responsible for hauling your own garbage, picking up after yourself, and caring for the land we have been blessed to used. Please be courteous and respect other campers quiet time by keeping noise at reasonable levels and not running generators while folks are trying to sleep. Please no fires outside of the designated fire pit area.

“CONSERVATION NIGHT” SATURDAY EVENING:

  • Please bring a potluck dish to share for dinner.
  • Please bring an item to donate to our Auction to help us cover the expenses of the event.
  • Without our Conservation partners, we would not have the wolf seasons we have, nor the strength it has taken to defend our way of life against the anti-hunting/anti- trapping community. “Conservation night” will include an opportunity for each of our conservation partners that attend with a booth, to talk about their organization, what they do, how that ties into wolf management and how they support or collaborate with F4WM to help us reach our goals.

EVENING BON-FIRE TIME:

  • We understand that many of our people are not social butterflies, and may not feel comfortable presenting to, or asking questions in front of a crowd. For that reason, we want to invite everyone to join in the fun discussions and enjoy the comradery around the fire in the evenings. We are all there to share and to learn… This event will be the one time each year that this much wolfer knowledge is gathered in one location – please take advantage of that.
